Connie Coopersmith is a Managing Partner of IBIS Partners and she also serves as the Vice Chairwoman of the Board of the IBIS Partners Social Venture.  Ms. Coopersmith is also the founder and owner of Swallow the Sun, LLC, a communications, marketing and events company.  Since 1992, she has served as a senior advance and special projects aide for President Bill Clinton, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama.

 

Events she has produced or orchestrated include international forums, presidential inaugurals, debate prep, speeches, book tours, fundraisers, multi-laterals with heads of state, live television venues and emergency visits to disaster regions. 

 

In 2004, she served as the executive director of Diplomats and Military Commanders for Change, a first ever alliance of retired senior level ambassadors, military commanders and former heads of the CIA who coalesced and campaigned for vigorous new diplomatic initiatives.

 

In addition, Coopersmith has worked closely with the ongoing efforts of the Clinton Foundation and the widely lauded Clinton Global Initiative.  Her event, The Taste of Thailand, a project for the Royal Kingdom of Thailand, raised funds for tsunami relief.  She served as the executive producer of the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts and EcoVision.  She joined forces with Shaquille O’Neal and the Safe Surfing Foundation to launch pioneering Internet safety programs for children.  Teamed with Warner Brothers Publications and Quincy Jones, she spearheaded a new national initiative for music and arts education in public schools.

 

Coopersmith has produced live music concerts and international fundraisers including most recently the SOS Benefit for Haiti with BET and MTV Networks.

 

As a partner in White Chocolate Management and the Revolution Fight Club, Coopersmith is at the forefront of the explosion of Mixed Martial Arts, the fastest growing sport in the world.  WCM was invited by the USO and the Pentagon to train American troops in Kuwait and Iraq and on US military bases.

 

Formerly the editor in chief of SPUR Magazine, she helmed the international publication noted for its illustrious photos and writing. Connie Coopersmith has also been a key member of Emmy Award winning teams in televised sports for four major networks.

 

Through Swallow the Sun Communications, she has launched numerous charitable events and ongoing business entities, developing marketing, publicity, multimedia platforms, websites and product development.

 

Be it promoting high stakes polo for royalty or coordinating efforts to eradicate malaria, teaming with the military or advancing the first regular season NFL game in London for the Miami Dolphins, her range of activities and efforts span the globe and continue to foster success.
