Don Alves, Jr. is the Executive Producer of Zenviba.  Don is the founder and CEO of Starwood Film and Music Production, established in 1994 and brings 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry, from starring in, producing and directing feature films to promoting major events.  His expertise and contacts are in high demand as he moves freely between Hollywood, Las Vegas, New York and London.  He is an accomplished artist and started working with the likes Carol Burnett and Flip Wilson as a teen in the 1970’s. 

Mr. Alves has worked extensively with Merv Griffin, serving for 4 years as the Entertainment Director for his Resort Hotel where he booked nation acts in the showroom as well as Production Shows for him like Roger Minami's "Island Fever."  He served as Stage Manager for Michael Flatley for 5 years on his Las Vegas Production of "Lord of the Dance" with a cast of 80 at the New York, New York Hotel Resort & Casino.  In 2005 he also worked with Mr. Flatley in London to design and supervise the building of his mega set for a cast of 180.

He served as Stage Manager for Kenneth Feld for 3 years on his Las Vegas Production of "The Madhattan Show" at the New York, New York Resort Hotel & Casino.  Mr. Alves also produced the very successful "The First Annual Rap Awards Show" at the Sands Hotel which aired on BET.  Over the past 20 years, he has literally worked on every stage in Vegas at some time or another.

 

Mr. Alves has worked with some of today’s biggest and brightest entertainers including Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Jay Z and Missy Elliott to name a few.  Don has also worked with Motown greats Marvin Gaye, the Temptations, the Four Tops and the Stylistics.

Additionally, he has worked with some of the top names in boxing history such as Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Roy Jones, Jr., Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather and Felix Trinidad.  Among his current projects, Mr. Alves is working on a new screen play and a feature film, as well as Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) matches.
