We have developed a new approach to the Fourth Sector using an emerging hybrid business model called the low-profit limited liability company (L3C).  The L3C organization has enabled new funding sources and approaches to community capacity building, the community control and management of assets, and the role of fourth sector in public sector reform.

Social Sector Evaluation

ADVOCACY

District Change is a non partisan advocacy initiative of the Institute that seeks to affect the structural changes in Washington , DC that are necessary to bring about responsible governance and intelligent domestic and foreign policy. It provides a platform for activism to promote change on behalf of social sector constituents and based on the ideas articulated by the Institute. District Change is dedicated to promoting change by lobbying Congress on behalf of the under resourced community.
