Mark Newman is a Managing Director of IBIS Partners.  Mr. Newman has a decade of commercial real estate experience and is the former Marketing Director for an international real estate investment company.  For the past two years he has focused on the distressed market working closely with developers and commercial property owners to help restructure debt and leases on high end properties in the South Florida area.  Additionally, Mr. Newman has been working with municipalities, Community Redevelopment Agencies and HUD to help identify urban areas targeted for redevelopment and future growth opportunities.  As a Certified Distressed Property Expert, Mark possesses the knowledge and expertise of working on all sides of short sales and foreclosure transactions.

For ten years prior to entering the real estate industry, Mr. Newman was the co-owner of MTM Partners, an integrated communication firm that specialized in creating communication strategies for businesses to successfully enter and grow in the marketplace.  His public relations and marketing background has enabled Mark to take a more strategic approach to the real estate market.  Understanding advertising and niche marketing create a unique opportunity to present distressed properties to developers and investors, as well as first time buyers, without the negative stigma of the process.

As an active member of the business community he is involve with many business organizations.  One of his proudest achievement is serving as a Director on the Ft. Lauderdale Rotary Club, which not only speaks to his involvement in the community but also to his commitment to put service above self to help those in need.  Mark also serves on multiple committees for Cystic Fibrosis from planning special events to fundraising.
