Gregory S. Daniel is the founder, Executive Chairman and Managing Partner of IBIS Partners. Mr. Daniel is a consummate professional and charismatic leader that brings more than 25 years of experience in the global capital markets, corporate finance, commercial banking, real estate and risk management. This Wall Street veteran and former NYSE Principal is a proven rainmaker that has worked in senior capacities for Mercantil Commercebank, Wachovia, First Union and Wells Fargo. During his distinguished career, he has orchestrated a dozen IPO’s and financed projects throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and South America.
Recently, Mr. Daniel has been involved within the Certified Development Financial Institution (CDFI) sector and the Small Business Administration (SBA) where he helped advocate and draft legislation that provides access to $300 million in funding for small businesses across the nation. He is also actively involved in several financial services industry trade groups including the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth. Mr. Daniel has been active in community affairs for the past two decades and currently serves as the Chairman of the Palm Beach County School District Audit Committee. He is a former member of the City of West Palm Beach Independent Audit Committee and a Director of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, the Boy Scouts of America, School of the Arts Foundation, Metro Broward, PROPEL, Youth Build and the Marine Industry Education Foundation. He is a patron of the arts and can often be seen volunteering his time, making charitable contributions and participating in fundraising activities.
Mr. Daniel received his Bachelor of Science degree from United States International University, San Diego, California in Business Administration in 1985. |
