Anthony B. Akinyede is a Managing Director of IBIS Partners and covers West Africa. He also serves a Director of the IBIS Partners Social Venture. The Nigerian born Mr. Akinyede brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing, new business development and analysis. His practice area includes providing consultative services to companies doing business or interested in doing business in unfamiliar territory across the globe. He possesses hands on expertise in negotiating counter-trade agreements, helping companies find new trading partners overseas, finding markets for exports, or importation of raw materials or manufactured/finished products. Mr. Akinyede is from a politically prominent family in Nigeria. He maintains deep relationships with senior governmental officials, business leaders and partners in the West African region.

Mr. Akinyede is involved in the community. He has served as a Commissioner in the City of Frisco, Texas Board of Adjustments & Constructions Boards of Appeals. He is also the founder of African American Think Tank, a consulting group and international advisory board that focuses on building a bridge between Africans and Americans. Mr. Akinyede received his primary education in London and earned his Masters in International Relations in 1986 and his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1985, both from United States International University.
